About the Annual Report
Chapters are required to submit a yearly report to Optica. This report allows chapters to:
- Highlight the activities of the chapter during the previous year
- Showcase initiatives planned for the upcoming year
- Secure management grant funding to help organize routine chapter meetings
- Recognize changes/updates to the chapter program for the coming year
All chapters, regardless of activity or need for management grant funding, are required to submit this report. Chapters that do not submit a report will not be eligible for benefits in the coming year. Inactivity will not necessarily disqualify a chapter from receiving a management grant (especially as a result of the pandemic).
2025 Grant Modification
Eligible chapters will receive a flat grant of $500. If your chapter does not require funding, you will have the opportunity to select $0 needed.
